JumpSport Kids Trampoline * 2 New Adventures for RompyRoo * Interactive DVDs

I had the exciting privilege to receive and review the  JumpSport iBounce Kids Trampoline earlier this year, which was timed perfectly to replace our trampoline that had been recently recalled by another company.  As my kids are growing up in these formative first years, the JumpSport Kids Trampoline has not lost its luster!  Amelia is now 15 months old and very much a daredevil of a child and loves to jump on the trampoline!  Noah, now 3, is still a crazy and energetic little boy and tries to jump as high as he can!

What child doesn’t love to jump on trampolines?  Exercising and not even knowing that they are doing it. How perfect is that for a mom!  In today’s world, technology rules, and the creators of iBounce Kids Trampoline have combined these two loves into one active adventure.  Their first and feature DVD, Hop a Long with RompyRoo, introduced RompyRoo, a very active and bouncy kangaroo!  Kids follow the instructions of RompyRoo as he bounces around his hometown trying to find his lost teddy bear.  RompyRoo and the JumpSport Kids trampoline encourage counting and listening skills while promoting good health.

To refresh you on the JumpSport Kids Trampoline, here is an excerpt from our previous review of the benefits of the iBounce Kids Trampoline: (Recommended for ages: 2 – 5 years old)

  • Great way for little ones to be active… It’s fun!
  • Develops coordination, balance and endurance
  • Very easy to assemble
  • Secure, sturdy, kid-proof mount for your tablet
  • Lets your child Hop-A-Long with RompyRoo on his adventures
  • Strong, long lasting Elastic Cords

To keep the exercising experience fresh, JumpSport has rolled out two new RompyRoo animated adventures this month, Let The Games Begin! and The Grand Finale!

Episode 2 of the newly released DVD’s is entitled,  Let The Games Begin! This video guides children on an adventure through a variety of scenes, including the land of dinosaurs, skiing down slopes, over the big city and through the farm.  This video teaches letters, numbers, colors and more!

Here is a video of our 3 year old, Noah, enjoying Episode 2:

Another great feature of Let The Games Begin! is the new option from the DVD menu, “Mom and Me”, that gave Noah and I the opportunity to have fun together!

Here is a short preview of Episode 2:

Episode 3: The Grand Finale! is just as fun and educational as the first two episodes. Building on skills learned in episode 2,  RompyRoo advances from counting up to actively teaching how to count backwards as well!

Here is a short preview of Episode 3:

Texas is seasonably warm at this point in time, but as the weather cools down nationwide, and downright cold in some areas, this set of DVD’s encourages physical activity inside, when they can’t play outside. Both videos keep kids hopping as they develop balance and coordination while learning to listen carefully and follow directions.

You still have the option of using the DVDs with a TV, or if you want to load any of the videos onto a tablet, simply load the video(s) onto your computer, and then transfer the file(s) from your computer to your tablet!  Bummer that we don’t have a tablet to experience RompyRoo to the fullest extent!

Here is a video of our 15 month old, Amelia, trying to jump like her brother to the new videos!

Continuing to accrue award after award, the JumpSport is really showing its worth and setting itself apart from its competitors!

Now that Noah is 3, I find that he enjoys the videos quite a bit more. His ability to listen to directions and follow along with RompyRoo has greatly increased even over the short few months that it has been since we originally received the JumpSport iBounce Kids Trampoline.  I like that Episode 2 and 3 has been developed to progress and expand on the basics that Episode 1 taught.  Although Amelia is too young to interact with the DVD’s at this time, she sure does love to jump.  I still love the design of the JumpSport Trampoline and the think ball shaped handles that allow for easy, non-slip grip for all ages.

BUY IT! The iBounce™ Kids Trampoline by JumpSport can be purchased on the JumpSport website for a price of $129.95, and comes with FREE SHIPPING via UPS.  Then purchase each of the three episodes for $9.95 a piece.
