David Tobocman’s Escalator CD (**GIVEAWAY**)

David Tobocan’s talented musical stylings shine bright and get you movin’ with his newest album, Escalator, a collection of songs about things that move.  Parents will appreciate this album because there is no loud, hard core stuff.  Kids will love this album because it sings about things they can relate to using musical rhythms, styles and harmonies that are appealing and easy to learn for themselves.

Check out these great songs:

Escalator

Escalator or stairs?  A little bitty ditty that will have you tapping your toes and singing along.

Custom Family Spaceship

How much fun could you have AND how many places could you go if you had a “custom family spaceship flying motel in the sky”!  (I want one!)  This song has all the details and lots of imaginings about where you could go, what you could do and what would be required if you have a custom family spaceship.  Plus, he slips in a few science facts and a bunch of subtle humor!  It is a personal favorite of mine!

Born to Rock

An upbeat ode to the love of rock from infant through adulthood!

Gonna Be  Garbage Man

“Every day’s a treasure hunt when all you’re lookin’ for is junk…”  I love this song about a young person’s aspirations to be a garbage man and the musings about all that dream entails.  Love the harmonica, too!

The Owie Song

“Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow…”  A little ditty to sing when you get hurt.  Hilarious and appropriate!

Playin’ on a Sunday

Findin’ your groove and playin’ on Sunday is just the thing to do together!

Run Run, Race Car

“One day I am headed for the open road, but until then I hope I don’t explode.”  The love of speed and the open road from the perspective of a race car!

Zoe’s Intro

Peace Sign

“Show the world what is on your mind and show ’em your peace sign…”

America’s Our Country

“So many things to see, so many things to be, all here for you and me!”  For the love of all the great things about our country…

Big Train

Some finger-pickin’ love for all things related to trains…

Escalator is an album filled with simple, energy-filled music that will keep your toes tapping, your feet moving and your voice singing.  I know I will be singing and imagining along with the “Custom Family Spaceship” song for a long time!  (I want one of those.  Can I put it on my Christmas list?)
