FunBites **GIVEAWAY**

If you have small children, or know someone who does, I want to encourage you to check out this simple, exciting tool.  FunBites makes meals more exciting and might even encourage your kids to eat more nutritious food by making it fun!  I often find myself cutting things into tiny pieces for my (almost) 2-year-old.  It is a tedious, but necessary task.  I rarely make shapes or pictures, but tend to stick to small, bite-sized pieces in whatever shape works at the time.  FunBites makes cutting things into small pieces fast, easy and fun!  Check this out:

The “Cube It!” cutter makes bite-sized squares, perfect for little mouths.

The “Luv It!” cutter makes bite-sized shapes to create all kinds of food art!

FunBites are BPA free and top-rack dishwasher safe, and are super easy to use.  Choose your food, press down with the cutting portion and the push it out using the popper!  The blades work on any surface and are not sharp enough to harm little fingers if they handle it.  My older kids have learned to use it themselves!  Terrific!

There are so many ways to use these great tools.  Use them on fruit, pancakes, sandwiches, cheese, omelets, pizza, lunchmeat and more!  These are a terrific way to save time while making eating fun for kids.  Make sack lunches fun.  Create fun snack time activities by making food art!  (Kids love an excuse to play with their food!)  Having a party?  Use these tools to create finger foods for parties!  Make a sandwich, cut it with the “Cube It!” and stick those cute party picks in for instant attention to details.  Cut out tiny squares and hearts from cheese or lunchmeat for a great-looking platter!  Make cubes from watermelon, honeydew, pineapple and cantaloupe to create a beautiful fruit salad.  FunBites save so much time, and they make it easy!

BUY IT!  They are available for $12.99 each or buy both for $19.99!  Plus, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Make A Wish foundation.  These tools would make a great gift for birthdays, baby showers or Christmas stockings!  FunBites is offering A Nation of Moms readers a coupon code for 20% off until December 25th if you use the code “anationofmomsdec2011” or free shipping until the 15th (US only) with the code “freeshipdec2011“.

Lots of mini cheeses, my son is pretty crazy about cheese. I like the super mini sandwich idea. Fruits would be fun to make bite size… I’m pretty sure I’d attempt to cut up everything I make… or my son would. He likes to help me cook. I like these more and more as I am writing… 😀
