AutoLearner **GIVEAWAY**

The older our children get, the more time I find that we spend in the car. Driving too and from activities, waiting for activities to finish, and picking up and dropping off. Although the kids and I are always engaged in conversation, which is really important, I often find myself wishing that more could be done during our “car time”. On some days, it is a big hunk of our day together as mother and kids. I want to use that time the best I can to talk and teach our children.

That is why the AutoLearner is so great. Developed by two moms who felt the same way about their time in the car as I do, they created the Auto Learner to help teach their children, and provide more opportunities for conversation as they drove around town.

Auto Learner consists of a plastic lesson holder that attaches to the front-seat headrest of a car and holds interchangeable educational lessons.  The plastic holder sits facing the child so he/she can easily view the material inserted into the affixed sleeve. The educational lessons consist of color layouts highlighting educational information for children, such as alphabet, numbers, colors, letter sounds and everyday objects.

AutoLearner is made from very light weight plastic and is not much larger than a piece of paper .  The openings on the plastic holder fit right around the headrest. This is something I really like about the Auto Learner. It doesn’t have to “stick” to the car, and it can be moved to different cars. This has been great for us because sometimes our kids take a ride with their grandparents, and before they go we can easily change the holder from our car to theirs.

The lessons are great, and are interchangeable in the holder. The lesson is a downloadable file you save to your computer and print at home or your local copy center.  Lessons range from 1 dollar to 3 dollars and are worth every penny. They can be purchased with a black background or a white background and the colors are vibrant and the pictures are fun and engaging. We have been using the Alphabet Lesson in the car with our three year old. She knows her letters, but there are a few that she always gets mixed up. One ride in the car with the letters in front of her while we talk, and she doesn’t mix them up any more. We just switch letters each car ride. What a great opportunity it has been for us to use our car time together.

Lessons include…

There is a lesson for children of all ages and each lesson comes with a guide with suggested discussion topics for parents and caregivers.

We have had so much fun with our Auto Learner. It has been amazing to see what can be learned during a simple car ride to the grocery store.
