Who is Holly?
With a fitting name (she was born on Christmas day!), Holly has always loved beauty and nature. Her favorite childhood pastime was making creations with the plants and soil in her backyard. Now she has an enormous herb and vegetable garden, and her mysterious plant concoctions are now usable products that are good for people and the planet. She is avidly pursuing more knowledge and is in the process of getting her herbalist certification.
What kind of concoctions can you find?
Garden of Holly is proud to offer a line of beauty products and cleaning supplies that are nontoxic and synthetic free. All of their products are handcrafted in small batches and made to order. Never any artificial colors or scents – only pure natural essential oils and botanicals.
Here are just a few of the wonderful things she sells (Can’t you almost smell these wonderful products?)…
- Environmentally-friendly palm candles (they actually burn 40% longer than paraffin/petroleum-based candles!)
- Wool dryer balls
- Cold cream
- Lip Balm
- Organic handcrafted soaps (personal soap blends are also available) and a 6-pound soap log (Have you ever seen anything like it?!?)
Where does she get her inspiration for her Etsy shop?
After finding out out that she was having a baby in 2004, she was inspired to make their home as nontoxic and healthy as possible. She began handcrafting her own safe organic body products for herself and her son, as well as making household cleaning products. It was then that Garden of Holly was born.
What will she be offering as a prize during BlogMania?
A 16-ounce Sage Rosemary and Thyme Organic All Purpose Disinfecting Cleaner (valued at $10)
