When I first became pregnant with my son over 3 years ago, I started noticing these peculiar-shaped baby items. Boon gear was intriguing, unique and innovative. I instantly loved them and registered for a few. We ended up getting the Frog Pod (Boon’s first invention) and Fluid. The first made my live easier and the latter was my son’s preferred water bottle because of its shape and easy to hold “handle.”

In my recent quest for “greener” living, I have been searching for products that are safer for my family, especially my kids, so this makes mama happy. Really happy.
While they offer a wide range of gear (bathing, potty training, toys, storage, eating and so forth), I was excited to try out 3 products of theirs I had not yet heard of:
The Scrubble is a set of 3 interchangeable bath toys that encourage scrubbing. Each toy is a fun-textured bulb that can squirt water, but they are not built like your average squirt toys. (Of course they’re not or they wouldn’t be Boon!) These bulbs unscrew. My son loved being able to open, switch out, and close the parts. But what I liked best is that, unlike other squirt toys, you can completely dry these. We have plenty of squirt toys, and it takes an awfully long time (with plenty of labor and effort) to make sure all the water is emptied out to prevent mold. And you know what else is great about Scrubble? They are dishwasher safe!

I thought Flo would be more of a mommy “toy,” but my son also loved it. And so did my husband. They had way too much fun, evidenced by the water everywhere. (When being used properly) Flo is a water deflector, soft and protective faucet cover, and one-touch bubble bath dispenser all in one. It’s super easy to install and creates a gentle cascading (waterfall) effect that is pleasing to watch (and obviously hard to resist playing in).
