An interview with the owner (Shannon) …
Tell me a little about yourself.
I have had an Etsy store since 2006. It has been very fun to watch Etsy grow and grow with it. I started to make items when I was a single girl living in Long Beach. Back then I was making handbags out of industrial felt. Now I have two kids and I mainly make things for them. I have a few other products that evolved out of a strong need to use every last scrap of fabric that I buy.
What types of items do you sell?
Kids clothes, pants, sunsuits, and smocks. I also make dryer bags, french press cozies, seatbelt covers, throw pillow covers, and whatever else strikes my fancy. I actually have a section of my shop called Mysterious Melange and you never know what will be there.
Where do you get your inspiration?
I get inspiration from my husband, kids, and from things I see around the world.
What product(s) are your best sellers?
Anything you recommend for the summer or for the holiday season?
Sunsuits! I love to make them and they tend to be very eclectic. I like to mix and match fabrics and vintage items making truly unique products.
New and upcoming additions to your current list of products?
Not at the moment but you never know…..
Will you be offering any coupons, specials or promotions this summer or even during this event?
